A leading eCommerce agency is looking for an SEO Content Writer in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves creating high-quality, search-optimised content for diverse clients. Ideal candidates should have experience with SEO tools, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, unlimited paid holidays, and various employee perks.
Are you a creative wordsmith with a passion for crafting content that not only engages but also ranks? We’re looking for a talented SEO Content Writer to join our team on a hybrid basis from one of our key sites in Stockton, Newcastle, or Manchester. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in creating compelling, search-optimised content that drives visibility, boosts online performance, and helps our clients stand out in competitive markets.
As an SEO Content Writer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality, strategically optimised content across various formats and platforms. You'll play a key role in implementing content strategies, conducting thorough keyword research, and supporting client-facing activities to drive measurable results.
Your core duties involve writing on-page content for a diverse range of clients, encompassing landing pages, blog posts, CMS pages, interactive content and white papers. This content should naturally incorporate relevant keywords and internal links, leveraging your skilled use of SEO tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs. You'll be proficient in creating both short and long-form content, ensuring all approved material is uploaded to the correct platform following best practices. You'll be adept at managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously through effective personal time and task management, and contribute to content for other marketing channels (Marketplaces, Social, Email), where appropriate. A key part of your role will be assisting with content tracking and providing insights on performance, and creating content plans. Crucially, you will be responsible for planning content across the entire marketing funnel, leveraging keyword research, understanding user intent, and creating detailed personas to inform your content strategy. You will also maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
