At hampers.com, we are passionate about what we do, and our vision of bringing joy and wholehearted togetherness to gifting is something we want in each employee. As our SEO and Content Specialist, you will be responsible for both SEO strategy and content marketing, ensuring hampers.com attracts, engages, and converts visitors through high-quality, search-optimised content.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about both SEO strategy and content creation, ensuring that every blog post, category page, and product description helps with our overall rankings and resonates with our audience. This is a new role to the organisation, as we will be bringing these responsibilities in house, which will provide the unique challenge to shape and grow our SEO strategy.

Talent Tent is proud to work in collaboration with hampers.com on this vacancy, and you initial conversations will be with the Talent Tent team.

Some of the day to day needs of this role include;

Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy to improve search visibility and organic traffic.

Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities.

Optimise Shopify pages, metadata, URL structures, and internal linking.

Monitor and improve site performance, speed, and mobile-friendliness.

Utilise tools to track and improve SEO performance.

Write and optimise SEO-friendly blog articles, landing pages, and product descriptions.

Ensure content aligns with our principles and tone of voice.

Research seasonal gifting trends to create engaging, high-value content that supports us in understanding product gaps.

Repurpose content for different platforms, including email marketing and social media.

Collaborate with designers to enhance content with visuals, infographics, and videos.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

Work with our PR Executive to develop a content-driven link-building strategy (guest blogging, PR, influencer collaborations).

Monitor and manage the website’s backlink profile to ensure quality and relevance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Regularly report on organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI.

A/B test content and SEO strategies to optimize performance.

Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

What we’re looking for:

An understanding of the difference between consumers and buyers, recognising that gifting often involves purchasing products for others.

Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and apply them to content strategy.

Experience with Shopify SEO.
