Job description

Client Account Management: Act as the primary contact for your clients, providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations. Manage expectations around delivery timelines, campaign results, and strategic direction. Take part in client calls and meetings, contributing insights and updates with confidence.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal specialists to deliver cohesive, effective campaigns. Collaborate with the Content and Digital PR teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Partner with the SEO Data Analyst and SEO Strategists to obtain data that will help shape roadmaps.

Delivery: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns. Work closely with Content and Digital PR teams for integrated efforts. Collaborate with SEO Data Analysts and Strategists to gather data for strategic planning.

Development: Attend training sessions, complete relevant certifications, and work with senior team members to enhance your SEO knowledge.

Innovation: Keep up-to-date with SEO news, algorithm updates, and emerging trends.

Mentorship: Support SEO Executives through task delegation, guidance, training, and feedback.

Performance: Create insightful reports for clients by adding commentary in Agency Analytics, highlighting performance trends linked to completed work. Use data to inform ongoing strategies. Ensure dashboards report accurately and no data is missing. Communicate how our work contributes to client KPIs and engage clients to ensure understanding.

Strategy: Own SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of clients, with support from senior team members for complex challenges. Collaborate with SEO Strategists and Data Analysts to refine plans, ensuring alignment with KPIs. Responsible for day-to-day implementation, quality assurance, and continuous performance improvement.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • General SEO Knowledge: Good understanding of SEO best practices across on-page, technical, and off-page SEO. Awareness of how SEO efforts support clients’ commercial goals.
  • Specialist SEO Knowledge: Ability to contribute to specialized projects such as international SEO, migrations, or local SEO with support from senior team members.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to simplify technical concepts and translate performance data into clear insights for clients. Build trust by focusing on what matters, from progress to opportunities.
  • Experience: 3+ years in SEO, preferably in an agency setting. Experience managing multiple accounts and achieving client KPIs.
  • Mindset and Growth: Passionate about SEO with a desire to grow into senior roles. Proactive, driven, and ownership-oriented.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and team members, positioning yourself as a go-to SEO expert.
  • Tools: Proficient with Google Workspace, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, and SEO tools like Ahrefs or SERanking.
