Role Overview

You will work closely with clients to improve their website’s organic visibility and KPIs, while continuously advancing our SEO offerings. This role offers a great opportunity to enhance your SEO knowledge, collaborate across Essence Media, and work with the SEO Account Director to develop and review strategies.

As an Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for junior team members, reducing reliance on the SEO Account Director.

Reporting Line

You will report to the SEO Account Director.

Key Responsibilities
Business
  • Execute daily SEO tasks across multiple client accounts, including reporting, keyword research, technical audits, site health checks, opportunity reporting, on-page recommendations, and content planning.
  • Manage client SEO campaigns to ensure high standards and incorporate insights into future activities.
  • Contribute to new business pitches and opportunities, collaborating with other channel teams and senior members within set parameters.
People
  • Support the SEO Account Director with research, audits, and reporting.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members through coaching and training.
  • Model the attributes and behaviors expected within the SEO team and Essence Media.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Majestic, SearchMetrics/Sistrix, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, etc. Training provided.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Genuine interest in internet technology.
