Role Summary and Impact

We have an exciting opportunity to work with the award-winning Mindshare SEO team. We're seeking an SEO Account Executive who will work collaboratively with a team of talented SEO professionals to support the long-term success of our clients.

Workingwithin theMindshare SEOteamthe successful candidate willprimarilyworkwitha major high street retail websiteand gain exposure to other accounts within the team.The ideal candidate should beable to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of SEO and desire to learnmore about the industry.

The successful candidateshould be able to articulate key features and benefits ofSEO, but this doesn’t have to be from work experience, it can be from study or personal research.We’re looking for someone keen to learn and develop in the rolebut isnotnecessarilythefinished article!

Performance

  • Carry outextensive keyword research to identifySEOsearch landscape opportunities for clients.
  • Obtain and understandcrawldata,using audit tools to identify technicalSEOstatus of client’s website and provide best practice recommendations with Account Manager’s support. We work with large sets of data so the ideal candidate would haveexperience orbe comfortable with this.
  • Understand your client’s key performance indicators (KPI) are and how to monitor thesefor theirSEOperformance.
  • Understand howSEOmetrics interrelate and can influence each other.
  • Deliverclient reporting andanalyseresults under the guidance of the Account Manager, with a view todevelopactionableinsights.
  • Keen eye for understanding competitor’s performance and how to benchmark against them to improveclient’sperformance.
  • Familiariseyourself with,and apply,the MindshareOutcomesSEObest practiceinorder tocontribute to successful execution ofSEOstrategies.

Process

  • Demonstratean understanding of thecomponentsofSEO.
  • Complete the necessary specialist qualification,e.g.,Google Analytics andall relevant searchqualification.
  • Become confident in navigating theplatforms required toanalyse& manageSEOperformance.

Account management

  • Support Account Manager on client comms.
  • Present recommendations to clients where necessary.
  • Exceptional execution and application ofbestpractice.
  • Meeting and exceeding clients’expectations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, supporting the Account Manager where applicable.
  • Contribute to materials required for regular internal or client meetings.

About you

  • Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trendsand patternswithin data sets.
  • Proactiveinimproving their knowledge and capability.
  • Highly organised,withstrong attention to detailand time management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively, and work as part ofateam.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to be part of virtual and in person meetings.
  • Experience using basic features ofPowerPoint,Outlook,and Excel(E.g.,Creating and formattingPowerPointpresentations,sorting and filtering data, creating graphs and tables).
  • Basic technical SEO knowledge & skillset with an understanding of audit tools such as Screaming Frog &DeepCrawletc,would be an advantage but training will be offered.
  • Basic understanding of keyword ranking toolswith the ability to drawinsights where necessarywould be an advantage but again training will be offered.
