EventWell is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting mental health and neuroinclusion in the events industry. Founded and led by neurodivergent professionals with nearly 30 years of industry expertise, EventWell is a pioneer in providing gold-standard quiet rooms, sensory spaces, and wellbeing support at events.

We specialise in SensoryCalm Quiet Rooms, SensorySnug spaces, and the innovative SensoryGarden, along with training, wellbeing sessions, and accessibility host services. Our mission is to create safe, inclusive environments where everyone feels supported, regardless of their needs.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a SensoryCalm Volunteer. The volunteer will assist with setting up and maintaining sensory spaces at conferences, exhibitions, festivals and sporting events that we are supporting, providing support to attendees, guiding guests to quiet rooms, and ensuring the overall environment remains calm and welcoming.

Responsibilities also include engaging in wellbeing sessions, aiding accessibility hosts, and contributing to the smooth running of the event activities. This is an on-site role located at various venues and green sites in the UK.

  • Experience or willingness to work with neurodivergent individuals
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Interest in mental health and wellbeing initiatives
