A supportive charity organization is looking for a Sensory Support Officer to empower deafblind individuals in London. This full-time position involves engaging with service users, coordinating social events, and providing personalized support. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, relevant experience, and a passion for this mission. Full training will be provided.

Location: Central London (with regular travel across the capital)

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,352
As part of their Charitable Services team, you'll play a key role in bringing their support to new and existing members:
Your focus will be on enabling deafblind people to enjoy good health, wellbeing, and independence, by connecting them with tailored support, whether that's advice and guidance, emotional support, social opportunities, employability help, or specialist services.
They're looking for someone with strong people skills, initiative, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. You'll bring experience of working in the charity or support sector, along with:
Knowledge of sensory loss, BSL, or assistive technology would be a bonus, but full training will be given. Most importantly, you'll share our client's passion for empowering deafblind people and be able to travel independently across London.
