Job description

Job Title: Sensory Support Officer

At St Luke’s, we are seeking to appoint a Sensory Support Officer to support children in regulating their sensory needs throughout the school day.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience working within a special school is not essential, but knowledge, understanding, and experience of sensory needs and how to support children in regulating them are required.
  2. The role involves supporting the writing of individual plans, setting up sensory circuits, and working with families to support children’s sensory needs.

About St Luke’s Primary School:

We are a special school catering for 191 pupils aged 2 to 11 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties, many with additional needs.
