Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Sensory Technician in Milton Keynes to support the QC team. You will prepare samples and retains for sensory activities, aiding the reduction of complaints and ensuring inspection-ready lab conditions aligned to food safety standards.

You will maintain samples, support audits and perform routine analytical tasks with adherence to SOPs; join a dynamic, on-site team with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a science discipline.
• Familiarity with GLP, GMP, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Numerical/data entry and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Experience in the food and flavor industry is essential.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and manage reference samples with proper labeling, storage, traceability and disposal per procedures.
• Manage product retain samples for customer complaints, investigations, shelf-life studies, audits and comparisons per SOPs.
• Prepare samples, reagents and materials for testing and assist analysts with routine analytical tests per SOPs.
• Support sensory evaluation of finished goods and raw materials by preparing samples for panels.
• Ensure laboratory equipment, glassware and work areas are clean, organized and inspection-ready.
