The HALO Smart Sensor improves situational awareness and makes it possible to help protect people and spaces even where video security solutions are not permitted.


Job Description

This role is primarily remote. Must be based in the UK.

We are currently seeking a Sensor Sales Specialist for our UK region to be located in the UK.

The Sensor Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting our Motorola Solutions Enterprise sales teams to close Sensor sales across their channel partners and end user customers.

The Sensor Sales Specialist will help support their partnerships with Security and IT Integrators, Building Automation dealers, A&E Firms and help support them on named client opportunities.

The Sensor Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, customer recruitment objectives and represents the entire range of Sensor lines and services to assigned sales channel and customers within their regions.

The Sensor Sales Specialist has a dual reporting structure, reporting to the local in-country sales leadership and to the sales leader of the IPVideo division, however we are looking for independent territory leaders who are self-managing. The position is remote and resides in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the local sales reps with all sensor opportunities.
  • Prospects, qualifies and develops new customer relationships both within partner and end-user communities.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including sales, support, service, training, and management resources, in order to meet channel performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the assigned region.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned region customers.
  • Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Engineering Leadership to Identify, build, and execute go-to-market programs and solutions to meet the customer needs within region and vertical markets.
  • Participates in tradeshows.
  • This position requires travel.


Basic Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business technology/physical security sales environment with a track record of success.
  • Proven track-record of territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, industry (product) knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, motivation for sales and self-starter attitude.
  • Proficient knowledge of security and/or building automation products.
  • Experience in selling enterprise solutions.
  • Effective understanding and experience with the corporate culture, environment, and decision processes.
  • Effective understanding of the Overlay culture and environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent hunter and entrepreneur.
  • University degree required.
  • All prospective employees must pass a background check.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license with clean record.
