Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Vertical Recruitment is working with one of the industry's leading Building Services Consultancies. This award-winning consultancy is extremely busy and now has an excellent opportunity to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team in Central Manchester.

Established over 15 years ago, the company has experienced steady growth and now has an established team of circa 25 engineers, forging an excellent industry reputation. Current projects include a range of commercial, residential, education, and healthcare schemes, including high-profile, net-zero carbon, and landmark developments across the Northwest and beyond. Notably, the St Michaels in Manchester, a 42-storey multi-use development, and several hotels for the Virgin Group.

Due to continued expansion, there is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the head office in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified, ideally chartered with CIBSE, or working towards it. Experience in leading the delivery of building services design solutions on various construction projects is essential. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, good client communication abilities, and knowledge of sustainable low-carbon design and Part L compliance.
