Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Youth Justice Service Senior Case Manager in the South Locality, based at Trent Bridge House, West Bridgford. The role is 0.5 FTE, 18.5 hours, with hybrid office arrangements across the county, and a pro rata salary at £40,444–£45,529 per annum.

You will manage complex cases within the criminal justice system, focusing on preventative and statutory measures to safeguard children, working with partners to deliver effective interventions.

Qualifications

• A relevant professional qualification in social work or a related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in service delivery, including performance management and resource planning.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to youth justice and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Achieving Aims: Work towards the Youth Justice Service's Business Plan objectives.
• Safeguarding: Protect vulnerable children and ensure their safety.
• Partnership Working: Collaborate with agencies to provide support.
• Assessment and Planning: Evaluate risks and plan interventions for complex children.
• Guidance and Support: Mentor Band A case managers and Youth Justice Service Officers.
