Job summary

Right There in Ayr is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead day-to-day operations of Supported Accommodation South Ayrshire for young people aged 16 to 25. You will support the Service Manager, supervise staff, and ensure safe, person-centred, strengths-based support.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in housing, social care or supported accommodation.
• Commitment to person-centred support, safeguarding, confidentiality and respectful relationships.
• Able to organise time, prioritise, meet deadlines and allocate staff resources.
• Clear written and verbal communication across reports and case notes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, providing regular supervision and appraisals.
• Ensure support plans, risk assessments and reviews are up to date.
• Maintain a safe environment and high standards of accommodation.
• Audit files and follow incident processes and notifications.
• Promote trauma-informed, person-centred planning and harm reduction.
• Represent the service with local partners and key stakeholders.
