Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Working Foreman for high-end residential joinery and carpentry projects in the Woking area. This hands-on leadership role oversees day-to-day site activities, ensures safety compliance, and drives quality on bespoke developments.

You will supervise trades, perform carpentry tasks as needed, and coordinate with clients and project managers to meet programme milestones on prestigious residential schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman within the construction industry.
• Strong background in joinery and carpentry.
• Experience delivering high-end residential projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating trades and subcontractors on site.
• Carrying out high-quality carpentry and joinery work where required.
• Managing daily site operations to ensure programmes are met.
• Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the project.
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Liaising with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors.
• Organising materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Resolving on-site issues efficiently and professionally.
• Leading by example and maintaining a productive working environment.
