Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a remote US-based team. You will investigate and resolve complex claims across CT, MA, NH, RI and VT, applying analytical skills with empathy to guide outcomes.

You will partner with clients to deliver solutions, document activity, communicate clearly with claimants and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. A minimum of 3 years' claims experience and active state licenses are required; a Bachelor's degree is

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related claims experience in workers' compensation.
• Licensed or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices; computer proficiency with claims software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants while upholding empathy and professionalism.
• Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and support the outcome of the claim file.
