Windows Divestment Senior Technical Engineer
PAYE Agency worker contract role (Up to £650 per day)
Hybrid working – Sheffield (up to 3 days per week)
We are seeking a Windows Divestment Engineer to develop standardized and automated processes supporting infrastructure migration during Business Unit sales.
The bank's infrastructure must be sanitized and security hardened for sale or data migration. Sanitization involves uninstalling software, proprietary information, certificates, and configuration specific to the bank. Work may occur on weekdays and weekends to facilitate migrations.
As an Automation Engineer/Architect, you will maintain existing code supporting phased removal/restoration of software, files, and network configurations.
Responsibilities include auditing software and OS versions, reviewing security logs for vulnerabilities, consulting on cybersecurity issues, and collaborating with application and product teams on technical challenges such as storage migrations.
