Job summary

GARMIN (EUROPE) LIMITED is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to manage and optimize Windows server environments. The role involves designing integrated solutions, deploying Azure Local Hypervisor, and driving cost-efficient technology choices across the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in CS/IT/MIS or related field.
Ability to author and implement basic scripting to automate tasks.
Experience applying new technologies effectively.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication in a small team.
Excellent work documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops complex, integrated solutions for Windows server systems.
Deploys Windows Azure Local Hypervisor and troubleshoots issues.
Performs cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects.
Provides 24x7 on-call support as part of a rota.
Mentors junior IT Administrators and shares knowledge.
Leads major incident troubleshooting involving multiple disciplines.
Ensures SOX, PCI and security requirements are met.
Communicates system operations and environment changes.
