Job title:Senior Windows Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Location:London

The role:

My client, a boutique FinTech organisation are looking for a Senior Windows Security Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Windows environments, a thorough grounding in Security, and the ability to optimise and develop the Infrastructure estate.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting Windows client and Server
• Group Policy administration
• Taking ownership of Security for the Windows estate
• Automating repetitive tasks wherever possible
• Working with other teams for cross-platform projects and initiatives (Linux)
• Plan and implement upgrades, DR, BC etc.

Core skills required:

• Expertise across Windows environments, with emphasis on Server 16/19/22, and Windows 10/11
• Strong Active Directory experience including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc.
• Experience with PowerShell for automation
• Good understanding of Windows Security fundamentals
• Experience with VMware / Hyper-V
• Ability to manage and run projects
• IaC / Terraform / Ansible
