Job summary

Motorsport Network is seeking a Lead Model Design Engineer to own delivery, resources, and technical assurance across an allocated Model Design area. You will translate aerodynamic requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions and guide your team to deliver against priorities.

In this leadership role, you set priorities, allocate work, mentor engineers, and act as the primary delivery interface with other functions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of delivery in fast-paced wind tunnel model development.
• Strong CATIA and 3D CAD capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the timing, quality and delivery of your allocated Model Design area.
• Apply mechanical design, CAD, design for manufacture and verification approaches; lead solutions.
• Review and progress manufacturing, build and non-conformance issues; escalate barriers and drive actions.
