Job summary

THREE60 Energy Group is seeking an experienced Wells professional to provide technical, operational, and commercial expertise for well projects in the UK. The role ensures activities align with UK legislation, the THREE60 IMS, and industry best practice.

Responsibilities include designing well work programmes, producing technical reports, and supporting operations with a focus on safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Formal degree-level qualification in Engineering or Science.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UK well operations.
• Valid certification to enable offshore travel is desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years oil and gas wells/operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with the THREE60 Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations and THREE60 HSE policies.
• Develop methodology and programmes for well work, including subsea decom projects.
• Produce engineering studies and prepare technical reports.
• Prepare well designs and work programmes to meet project objectives.
• Support well operations under guidance from the Project Manager/Wells Superintendent.
• Develop regulatory submissions and liaise with clients, regulators, and portals.
• Assist with procurement and subcontracting processes for THREE60 services.
• Promote environmental and safety performance.
• Manage subcontracted services.
• Monitor/report on operational time and cost performance.
• Participate in the Emergency Response team as required.

Job description

To provide technical, operational, and commercial expertise in preparing for, executing, and reporting on well projects. This role will ensure THREE60 wells activities are conducted in compliance with legislation, the THREE60 Integrated Management System (IMS) and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with the THREE60 Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
• Ensure compliance with UK statutory regulations and THREE60 health, safety, and environmental policies
• Develop methodology and programmes for well work, initially for subsea decom projects
• Producing engineering studies and preparation of technical reports
• Prepare well designs and work programmes to meet project objectives
• Support well operations as required, under guidance from the Project Manager / Wells Superintendent
• Development of regulatory submissions, interface with online portals and liaison with clients, third parties and regulators on submissions.
• Assisting with procurement and subcontracting processes for THREE60 services
• Promote environmental and safety performance
• Management of subcontracted services
• Monitoring/reporting on operational time and cost performance
• Form part of the Emergency Response team as required by the company emergency response procedures

Competence Requirements

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Formal qualification at minimum degree level in Engineering or Science or similar is essential
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental considerations related to UK well operations
• Valid certification to allow travel to offshore locations is desirable
