Your new role

As the Senior Web Trading and Merchandising Manager for our DFS brand, you will be responsible for the sales performance and merchandising of products across the DFS website. You will lead the launch process, set web merchandising standards, and drive trading performance across sales, conversion, margin, and AOV metrics. This role involves leading and developing your team, building new processes, and fostering relationships. Strong analytical and commercial skills are essential.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in Doncaster office and 2 days remote. We are open to discussions about flexibility.

What you'll be doing
  • Drive Sales Performance: Lead initiatives to enhance online sales.
  • Tactical Trading Management: Use analytics to evaluate product performance, prioritizing top-converting items, balancing online and in-store sales.
  • Performance Improvement: Work with the team to identify and resolve issues affecting product performance, implementing solutions.
  • Cross-Sell and Upsell Strategy: Develop plans to increase AOV and Items Per Order across all channels.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide insights on trading trends using tools like GA4, Power BI, and Content Square.
  • Campaign Management: Manage promotional and new product launches, ensuring proper setup.
Customer Journey
  • A/B Testing Management: Oversee testing plans and identify customer experience improvements.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct weekly competitor reviews for actionable insights.
Relationship Building
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing on campaigns, landing pages, SEO.
  • Coordinate with Buying and Merchandising teams on product launches and campaigns.
  • Align with Online Team on IT and trading plans.
  • Lead the Web Trade and Merchandising team.
