Job Description:

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at an eCommerce payments solutions provider that has experienced great success in the last year and is growing as a result.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, focusing on Vue.js development to evolve and scale existing platforms and work on new Greenfield projects. You will manage all aspects of the frontend stack to produce high-quality white-labelled Progressive Web Applications and websites for major retail clients.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility, optimize applications for speed and scalability, build reusable code and libraries, and proactively suggest improvements. As a senior team member, you will also mentor and support junior developers.

Location / WFH:

Join the team two days a week in Billericay (free onsite parking), with flexibility to work from home the other three days. Flexible working hours are also available.

About you:

• Experience in mentoring with strong technical project and people leadership skills.
• Proficiency with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS; build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and CLIs; REST APIs, GraphQL (training provided on new technologies).
• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience working on high-performance/high-traffic websites; eCommerce experience is a plus.
• Collaborative with strong communication skills.
