Location: Hybrid – 1 day a week in Eastleigh office (4 days remote)

Your role:

As a Senior Web Developer, you’ll take technical ownership of key projects, mentor other developers, and help shape the future of scalable web applications. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure well-architected, maintainable solutions – and you'll have real input into technical direction and innovation.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical direction of projects, ensuring clear communication and delivery expectations across the team.
2. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Testers, and Analysts throughout the development lifecycle.
3. Provide technical mentorship to the team and support process improvements alongside the Principal Developer.
4. Review architectural decisions, contribute to proof of concepts, and maintain development documentation and standards.

Required skills:

1. Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for frontend development.
2. Strong testing skills – ideally using Jest.
3. Proficient with Git version control and Git Flow branching.
4. Experience with build tools like Webpack, NPM, and Docker.
5. Familiarity with Azure and Kubernetes is a plus.
