MBDA UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to support production activities for a unique launcher portfolio in our state-of-the-art facilities.
The role offers a dynamic hybrid working pattern with 3-4 days on-site, enabling close collaboration with design and manufacturing teams to improve robustness and reliability. A clear path for professional growth and exposure to advanced weapon systems is provided.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to join our team and play a leading role in the support of production activities to a unique equipment portfolio in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Salary: £41,000-£46,500 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on‑site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
As a Senior Weapon Systems Support Engineer you will serve as the critical interface between our design and manufacturing teams. Collaborating closely with a team of support engineers, you will provide both proactive guidance and reactive technical problem-solving to sustain real‑time manufacturing activities for our highly advanced launcher assemblies.
This position offers a rigorous engineering challenge while providing scope for cross‑functional growth and professional development. You will not only witness sophisticated designs transition into physical reality, but will play a pivotal role in refining those designs to ensure peak performance and reliability for our customers.
