Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced water specialist at Senior Consultant level to lead industrial water and wastewater management, water reduction assessments, and maturity studies for mining, pharma, manufacturing and other sectors.

You will review treatment systems, conduct water audits, and translate findings into practical recommendations while mentoring junior colleagues and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater management and treatment.
• Ability to interpret operational water data and identify anomalies.
• Strong report writing and client communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on technical workstreams within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water efficiency and maturity assessments for diverse clients.
• Conduct desktop reviews, site-based audits, opportunity calculations.
• Review treatment systems, regulatory drivers, and improvement options.
• Support due diligence and benchmarking of treatment solutions.
• Prepare client-ready technical reports and business-case inputs.
• Support mining and legacy-site water management projects and risk assessments.
• Contribute to proposals, methodologies and work-winning materials.
• Coordinate fieldwork inputs with site teams and project managers.
• Mentor junior colleagues in data review and technical writing.
