  • Mentoring and training of graduate modellers and providing guidance to support their professional development
  • Specification and management of flow surveys
  • Undertaking a checking and/or technical lead role of model build, verification and optioneering projects
  • Completing complex modelling tasks where required
  • Contributing and checking technical reports and presentations
  • Developing technical calculation outputs when needed
  • Opportunity to project manage infrastructure projects, if interested. This will involve being responsible for programme, commercial performance and technical excellence

Mott MacDonald offers a highly innovative and collaborative environment within which to further develop your career. We can offer development in technical, management or client‑facing directions, or a combination thereof – you will have control of your own career path and great prospects for career progression as the business continues to grow.

Candidate Specification
  • Ability to be a team player and develop relationships at all levels
  • Working collaboratively with clients as delivery lead, planning and delivering wastewater modelling projects of varying sizes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Qualified candidates should have a strong working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and GIS packages
  • Project Management experience and skills would be advantageous but not required
  • Chartered with a relevant professional institution (i.e. ICE or CIWEM)
  • Excellent skills in spreadsheet data analysis (i.e: using MS Excel pivot tables or PowerBI)
  • Programming skills in languages such as VBA or Python would be advantageous
UK Immigration

Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision is as a consequence of the changes made to the Skilled Worker route by the UK Government in April 2024. We continue to welcome applications from candidates who are eligible for alternative immigration routes in the UK, that do not require sponsorship as a Skilled Worker now or in future.
