AMP 8 is an exciting time for The Water Industry and for Stantec’s role within it. As our clients' needs grow, we are continuing to grow our own teams, enabling us to continue delivering our expert solutions to varied challenges. As a result, we are looking for Senior Wastewater Modellers to join us across our offices inBrighton, London, Cambridge,Ashford, Kings Hill, Southampton& High Wycombe.

You will join our established, national team working on a variety of projects focused on catchment growth, identifying and reducing flood risks and improving water quality for our clients. Our work is centred around a thorough knowledge of urban drainage and its role within the wider water cycle & urban landscape, whilst placing environmental commitments, sustainability & our communities at the heart of everything we do.

Within your role, you will:

• Provide technical leadership for wastewater modelling projects.
• Develop & deliver innovative technical solutions across Stormwater Overflows, Water Quality Management, Developer Assessments, Flood Investigations & more.
• Work with our specialist teams to develop new tools & procedures within Wastewater Modelling, which further enable us to delivery expert solutions to our clients
• Plan & coordinate project delivery, including the preparation of cost estimates.
• Line manage more junior team members, including mentorship and supervision of technical outputs.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment and demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities - including a full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.

You will have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment.
