Job description

We are currently recruiting multiple Senior Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers for various major long-term frameworks across the UK.

About The Role:

RPS and Tetra Tech have secured a £100 million single-award framework from United Utilities to enhance river health in the Northwest of England. This is a 10-year initiative focusing on program optimization, solution development, and delivering value with a low carbon footprint. About The Team:

RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts dedicated to Asset Management and Operational Strategy for water industry clients. We work on innovative projects and long-term frameworks, providing opportunities for career development over the next 20 years.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have experience in urban drainage projects, proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software, strong teamwork skills, and leadership qualities to mentor others and ensure excellent client service.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver hydraulic modelling and catchment strategies.
  2. Assess solution feasibility and engineering factors.
  3. Improve tools, procedures, and processes for efficiency and innovation.
  4. Ensure quality and compliance with standards.
  5. Travel to client sites or offices as needed.
  6. Lead and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of water industry legislation and regulation.
  • Experience managing projects of varying sizes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in InfoWorks ICM, GIS, and related software.
  • Degree in a relevant technical field; postgraduate and chartership are advantages.
  • Membership with professional bodies like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM preferred.
