Culina Group Limited, through its Great Bear Desborough operation, seeks a hands-on Senior Warehouse Team Leader to manage a busy shift and drive performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will lead a team to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards while supporting the Shift Manager and developing staff for progression, with overtime opportunities paid at time and a third.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills to share information clearly.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and achieve targets.

Responsabilités

• Lead, organise and support a team of around warehouse colleagues across the operation.
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.
• Covering the Shift Manager role during holiday and absences

Job Description

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days, 05:45 - 17:45, 40.25 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities paid at time and a third

Salary: £33,456 per annum

We are looking for a confident and hands-on Senior Warehouse Team Leader to join our Desborough operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.

In this role, you will support the Shift Managers in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

What we’re looking for

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.
