Job summary

The Best Connection in Warrington is hiring a Senior Warehouse Operative to progress into a more senior role with responsibility and lead a small team. Working in a busy warehouse, you will support the Goods Out Supervisor and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, leadership experience is a plus, and FLT licenses are desirable but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the Goods Out Supervisor with daily warehouse operations.
• Lead and motivate warehouse colleagues to hit targets.
• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Ensure orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Support stock control and dispatch processes.
• Assist with process improvements and CI initiatives.
• Support other warehouse functions as required.

Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading supplier and manufacturer of medical products, are looking to recruit a Senior Warehouse Operative. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking to progress into a more senior role with additional responsibility and the opportunity to lead a small team.

Working within a busy warehouse operation, you will support the Goods Out Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the Goods Out department, ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately and on time.

Duties will include:

• Supporting the Goods Out Supervisor with daily warehouse operations
• Leading and motivating warehouse colleagues to achieve operational targets
• Delegating tasks and monitoring team performance
• Ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately
• Investigating and resolving operational issues efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the warehouse
• Supporting stock control and dispatch processes
• Assisting with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting other warehouse functions as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience leading or supervising a team would be advantageous
• FLT licences (Reach, Counterbalance or HLOP) are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600
