Day to Day Duties

As a Senior Warehouse Operative, your duties will be, but not limited to:

• Overseeing the physical warehouse operation.
• Receiving & labelling.
• Picking, put-away & moves.
• Outbound loading / container tipping.
• Assigning daily deployment for warehouse operatives (dependant on workload).
• Coaching new starters.
• MHE & battery checks, RF scanner & printer audits.
• Checking outbound picked units.
• Checking outbound load integrity.
• Warehouse checks, escalating any issues discovered.
• Reporting MHE issues.
• Operational support when necessary.
• Admin support when necessary.
• PI support when necessary.
• First operational point of contact for the duty FLM.
• Fast works support (MHE & behavioural safety observations).
• Update trackers and provide regular operational updates.

Skills needed to be a Senior Warehouse Operative with our client are:

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse operation, operating under pressure and to deadlines.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and operational principles.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) with all aspects of the business.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers and stakeholders
