Job summary

Santander UK is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Lead to head the enterprise vulnerability program. Based in Milton Keynes or Glasgow, you will shape remediation strategies across IT, security, and business stakeholders, ensuring timely risk mitigation and governance compliance.

You will lead a team, drive remediation prioritisation, and report trends to senior leadership, while leveraging automation and scripting to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in vulnerability management remediation and information security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities enabling high-performance teams.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and application security.
• Experience in scripting/automation to enhance remediation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management program.
• Develop prioritisation and remediation processes for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, and application teams on remediation strategies.
• Monitor remediation trends, risks and program performance for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and escalate high-impact vulnerabilities through governance channels.
