Job summary

Qurated is seeking a VP-level Software Engineer to operate as a senior technical leader across multiple engineering domains within a major UK banking transformation. You will act as a trusted advisor, partner with principal engineers and engineering managers, and move across teams to foster consistent engineering standards and technical excellence.

The role involves independent project leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on involvement to solve complex delivery and platform challenges

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns, including domain-driven and cell-based architectures.
• Experience with containerised platforms (cloud and on-premises).
• Experience with AWS and automated testing practices.
• Platform and application security awareness.
• Broad technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable operating across multiple technology stacks and programming languages.

• Act as a senior technical leader across multiple engineering teams and domains.
• Build relationships with engineering leaders and influence technical decisions.
