Bank of China in London’s Risk Management department seeks a Vice President - Liquidity and Capital Risk Oversight (2LoD) to provide independent oversight of liquidity, capital risk and related regulatory reporting.

You will act as SME for modelling, review regulatory reports, oversee stress testing, and collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Compliance and Internal Audit to strengthen governance and risk culture.

Qualificações

• Degree in finance, business, mathematics, risk management, economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CFA or FRM is a plus.
• Experience in liquidity and capital risk management or regulatory reporting in financial services.
• Experience in either 1LoD or 2LoD with independent risk oversight.
• Knowledge of ICAAP/ILAAP and stress testing.
• Experience engaging with regulators (PRA, FCA).
• Understanding UK regulatory reporting (PRA/FCA).

Responsabilidades

• Act as 2LoD SME for liquidity and capital risk modelling.
• Review regulatory reports and 1LoD SME activities.
• Verify 1LoD risk assessments for completeness and quality.
• Lead 2LoD controls testing programme.
• Guide 1LoD on policies, processes, and controls.
• Oversee stress testing and scenario analyses.
• Review remediation plans for regulatory findings.
• Drive governance, controls, and reporting improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
