An established industry player is seeking a Senior Voluntary Sector Grants and Project Officer to lead grant programs and coordinate projects within the voluntary sector. Join us as a Senior Voluntary Sector Grants and Project Officer at Richmond and Wandsworth Councils.
This role is based at Wandsworth Town Hall and offers a salary of £42,192 - £51,127 (PO3). It is a permanent, full-time position supporting the voluntary sector in Wandsworth.
You will lead on voluntary sector grant programs, coordinate key projects, and develop partnerships within the borough. Responsibilities include managing grant schemes, overseeing projects related to service development, and acting as a deputy to the Grants and Partnership Manager.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with or within a local authority, managing grant schemes, and working with small organizations. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills are essential. A commitment to equality and understanding of small community groups' needs are also important.
Experience with funding mechanisms, managing small organizations, and understanding voluntary sector challenges. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and deliver outcomes on time is crucial.
