Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team in sunny Eastbourne.

We are located on the South Coast with beautiful beach walks just 5 minutes from practice. 10 minutes by car from us is Beachy Head with its cliffs and views. Eastbourne offers countryside enthusiasts and town life with vibrant arts and café culture. Excellent train links to Brighton (20 minutes), London (1 hour) and Gatwick airport (45 minutes) are within easy direct train reach.

Eastbourne Vets is made up of 3 branches: one main hub and two smaller surgeries. We have a fully equipped theatre, kennels for inpatients, digital X-ray and dental X-ray. Diagnostic imaging is supported by an ultrasound scanner with cardio and abdominal probes, and a fully equipped laboratory for blood diagnostics.

What we are looking for

We are ideally looking for a vet with experience and a keen interest in surgery and a desire to mentor and teach others. You will enjoy a varied caseload across our three practices, a mix of consulting and surgical time, and be part of a collaborative team of clinicians working together to deliver the best possible patient and client experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with a surgical bias and/or another preferred area of interest. We support our clinicians to do the job they love.
