Mainstone Vets in Romsey, Hampshire, seeks a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to lead a warm, supportive team and deliver high-quality care to small animals. You’ll share a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, and small furries, with a balance of consultations and surgery and opportunities to shape future practice development.

The role features a 40-hour week (8:30am–7pm), 1:5 Saturday mornings, no out-of-hours work, and a relocation/Welcome bonus program with ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Senior veterinary surgeon role requiring leadership and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Balance consultations and surgery with routine first-opinion work alongside orthopaedics.
• Care for cats, dogs, rabbits and other small animals with varied caseload.
• Occasional sole-charge duties with independent clinical decisions and available support.
