Willett House Veterinary Surgeons, a long‑standing, fully equipped 24/7 hospital in the United Kingdom, seeks a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. The role offers a 4‑day week and shifts from 8:30am to 7:00pm with one in nine early/late shifts and Saturdays.

Driving license and vehicle are essential. You will diagnose and treat a diverse caseload, perform routine medical and surgical procedures, and provide excellent inpatient and postoperative care.

Formación

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience; Medicine Cert preferred
• Driving license and vehicle essential
• Commitment to animal welfare and client care
• Willingness to work across practice branches

Responsabilidades

• Consult and diagnose a wide range of cases
• Perform routine medical and surgical procedures
• Provide inpatient and postoperative care
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Support veterinary nurses and student nurse training
• Maintain high standards of clinical safety and infection control
• Work flexibly across branches when required
• Utilise state‑of‑the‑art facilities (CT, X-ray, endoscopy)
• Engage in CPD and career development
• Ensure a supportive, collaborative team environment
• No out‑of‑hours work (OOH) with on‑site Vets Now facility
• Care for dog and cat wards and surgical prep areas

We are looking for a professional, compassionate and team-focused Senior Veterinary Surgeon who is committed to animal welfare, excellent client care and continuing to develop their clinical skills.

The role includes
