• VA451 – Croydon – Senior Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for a confident veterinary surgeon who is thirsty for a positive challenge, to step into a sole charge senior position in our practice in Croydon, South London.

Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:

Our senior salary band is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role, as we would welcome the opportunity to provide CPD for further clinical or management development.

This role includes a branch Saturday rotation and 1:10 Sunday rotation in the Stone Lion Hospital plus 1 bank holiday per year. We would also be happy to explore this as a 3 day week role.

There are no on-call requirements for this position.

About the role

Between Croydon and nearby New Addington, are experienced support teams including RVN’s, students and front of house, that play an integral part in day-to-day branch life, including successfully maintaining high team morale.

You will have full clinical support from Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon, for any complex referrals you may need to make, and OOH care for your patients.

You would be fully supported by your dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet who has a wealth of knowledge to pass on and can support you in your clinical management needs.

This is a sole charge position, and you will be comfortable with routine GP consultations and surgery, but ample support is provided by management in the region. You will also be responsible for the support and guidance of an associate vet who will work between Croydon and New Addington.

Being south of the river, you are ideally located near idyllic Kingston Upon Thames, and then for a night out in London within easy reach of Brixton.
