You will establish and drive new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with publishers. You will be customer focused, entrepreneurial, a proven self-starter, and have the demonstrated ability to invent.
Within this role, you will:
- Be an expert relationship manager and communicator, who works closely with publishers up to C-level to ensure Amazon customers can find any book in our store, download it quickly at a great price and have an excellent experience reading it.
- Be responsible for specific publisher level metrics around selection, subscription participation, and profitability
- Become an ebooks expert who understands industry trends, the competitive environment and readers’ needs - and innovates in response.
- Work closely with leaders across the Kindle organization – locally and globally – to ensure we continue to develop new services and products.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and automation
