Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with leadership potential to join a well-established, family-run garage in the Leeds area. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and repairs, and help drive workshop performance while enjoying earnings potential through profit sharing and annual bonuses.

The role offers a competitive package with a basic salary around £34,000–£36,000 and total earnings advertised at £36,000–£44,000 per year, based on experience and performance,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years automotive experience, 7 years preferred.
• Senior Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Vehicle Technician experience.
• Management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge and repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Carry out servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles to high standards.
• Investigate faults using mechanical knowledge and tools to complete effective repairs.
• Support smooth workshop operations and maintain efficient job flow.
• Use leadership experience to coordinate work and maintain high standards.
• Assist with job pricing and provide accurate estimates when required.
• Ensure repairs are performed safely and to required standards.
• Provide excellent customer service through clear communication.
• Contribute to workshop productivity and profitability.
