Job summary

Flexible Solutionz is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Blackburn. This role offers a clear path to develop your career in the motor industry within a supportive and skilled team.

You will work with the Workshop Manager, use diagnostic equipment, and complete service documents accurately. The ideal candidate has level 3 in Vehicle Service and Repair, at least 3 years' experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service and Repair (minimum).
• At least 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proactive 'can-do' attitude.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Workshop Manager to complete allocated jobs efficiently.
• Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional work or customer updates.
• Attend training sessions (both on-site and off-site).
• Provide detailed updates on work progress.
• Carry out vehicle health checks.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess and verify repairs.
• Road test vehicles where required after work is completed.
• Complete all relevant service documentation accurately (job cards, reports, worksheets).
• Record clear descriptions of faults identified and repairs carried out.
