Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking an experienced automotive technician for a premium workshop on the Worthing/Sompting border. You will work Monday to Friday, with no weekends and an early Friday finish, handling advanced diagnostics and high-standard servicing on petrol, diesel, and high-voltage EVs.

You should have 5+ years in a quality workshop, strong fault-finding skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Training on EVs and German-brand diagnostics is provided, and the role offers a competitive basic

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-standard independent or main dealer workshop.
• Strong diagnostic fault-finding capability; experience with German brands or EVs is a plus.
• Valid full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Performing advanced fault-finding and complex diagnostics on modern petrol, diesel, and high-voltage EV systems.
• Executing major mechanical overhauls, including clutches, timing belts, and timing chains.
• Carrying out precise servicing, vehicle health checks, and routine repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Utilising dealer-level diagnostic tools to solve intricate electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.

Salary: £32,000 – £50,000 Basic (Dependent on experience)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday ONLY – No Weekends & Early Friday Finish (16:30)!
