Job summary

Kamro Limited T/A Tenex in Timperley, Greater Manchester, is hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the busy workshop team. The role focuses on servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of vehicles, with an emphasis on quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience, owns their own tools and holds a full UK driving licence. MOT testing is preferred but not essential, and the position is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Vehicle Technician or similar automotive role.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Must own your own tools.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work across a range of makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and general vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension and exhausts.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Conduct pre-MOT inspections and MOT tests if qualified.
• Keep accurate records and ensure high safety standards.
