Job description

We are a leading and award-winning independent garage group offering car repair, MOT and specialist motor trade services across 4 locations in Surrey and Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Carry out diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical and electrical faults.
  2. You must have 5 years+ experience of working within the automotive industry, and be able to work on your own initiative and also in a team.
  3. Carry out service, diagnostic and repair work, as directed.
  4. Inspect for wear and tear/general faults.
  5. Complete work to DVSA standards.
  6. Carry out MOT inspections on vehicles (Desirable).
  7. Provide excellent customer service and deliver best practices, synonymous with the luxury manufacturing brand.

Skills/Experience:

  1. IT Literacy.
  2. Previous experience as a Technician: Minimum 5 years.
  3. A valid full UK driving license.
  4. Attention to Detail and Accuracy.
  5. A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum - ideally Level 4 trained) is ideal but not essential.
  6. Skilled diagnostic and repair vehicle technician, with a proven track record in fault finding. Experienced using serial diagnostic equipment, multimeters and ideally but not essentially the use of oscilloscopes for testing.
  7. Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
  8. Experience across a range of vehicle brands.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  10. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
