Job description

Senior Vehicle Mechanic required in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
Salary up to 50k DOE
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm, 2 in 4 Saturday Mornings


Responsibilities for the Senior Vehicle Technician role will be:-

  • Undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a large variety of motor vehicles to a high standard
  • Competent at diagnosing vehicles
  • Carry out all work effectively whilst adhering to scheduled times
  • You will be responsible for keeping work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from hazards
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite manner
  • To be aware of the importance of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction working to ensure they are met at all times


Minimum requirements for the Vehicle Technician role are:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Have at least 2 years' experience after qualifying of working in a Dealership/Independent workshop as a Technician
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Driving License essential
  • The ability to work without supervision
  • Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work
