Job summary

Igloo Ltd in Rugby is recruiting for experienced Vehicle Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation. The role requires carrying out thorough final checks on vehicles before delivery and verifying paperwork and MOT status.

Applicants must have extensive inspection experience, strong knowledge of inspection processes, and the ability to identify faults. A full UK driving licence is required, with no more than six points.

Qualifications

• Extensive previous experience as a Vehicle Inspector is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects.
• Able to work independently and make informed decisions about vehicle condition.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough final inspections on vehicles prior to customer delivery.
• Check completed paperwork and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Check MOT status and vehicle records.
• Carry out basic mechanical checks where required.
• Check vehicle fluid levels, including air and water checks.
• Check dashboard warning lights and identify potential issues.
• Inspect a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Record and report faults or defects clearly and promptly.
• Ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards before delivery.
