Job summary

Unity Advisory is seeking a Senior VAT Manager to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. You will champion VAT strategy, liaise with tax authorities, and guide clients on complex indirect tax issues within a lean, AI-enabled advisory environment.

The role requires leadership of VAT engagements, strong technical knowledge of UK/EU VAT and proven ability to build lasting client relationships. This is a hybrid role designed for senior practitioners who thrive on delivering practical, value-driven

Qualifications

• CTA/ATT or equivalent tax qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of UK/EU VAT regulations and compliance.
• Experience leading technology-enabled client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert VAT advisory services to clients in the UK, EU, and globally.
• Develop VAT strategies aligned with clients' commercial objectives.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on advisory projects.
• Use data analytics to identify VAT opportunities and risks for clients.
• Liaise with HMRC and other authorities on VAT matters.
• Mentor junior staff on VAT compliance and advisory work.
