Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon to join the Somerset & North Devon Vascular Network. The post includes 10 programmed activities per week and participation in the 1:7 on-call rota, with involvement in governance, education, quality improvement, research and service development.

You will deliver the full spectrum of vascular care, including EVAR and complex endovascular work, across hub and spoke sites within a dynamic regional

Qualifications

Medical Degree and Royal College membership.
Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
Entry on GMC Specialist Register in Vascular Surgery or CESR/EC rights.

Responsibilities

Provide full spectrum vascular care across the network.
Undertake vascular and endovascular procedures including EVAR and hybrid procedures.
Contribute to development of advanced endovascular and limb salvage services.
Participate in consultant on-call rota and cross-cover colleagues.
Engage in MDTs, governance, audit, and teaching.
