Within OVO’s Energy Markets and Optimisation (EMO) function, this role is part of the Energy Value team, developing market-leading propositions and tariffs for customers.

This role in a nutshell:

You will provide high-quality reporting and insights to support data-driven, commercial decisions across tariffs and propositions, leading complex changes.

Your key outcomes will be:
  • Lead OVO’s unit economics modelling for domestic flexibility.
  • Provide value modelling for customer propositions involving EV charging, heat pumps, batteries, solar, etc.
  • Support commercial decision-making on tariffs, structuring, and innovative features.
  • Maintain reporting on risks to Value and Gross Margin.
You’ll be a successful Value Analyst if you…
  • Have 2+ years in a relevant energy sector role.
  • Possess commercial awareness and ability to communicate at a senior level.
  • Work comfortably with ambiguity and learn quickly.
  • Have strong data manipulation skills and experience with tools like BigQuery, Tableau/Looker, Python, Github.
  • Experience in value modelling of domestic flexibility and SQL reporting is preferred.
